Plainly
What it does, and what it doesn't.
01
GST is one line
The editor doesn't split CGST and SGST, or IGST. Note the split in the terms if your invoice must show it.
02
No e-invoicing yet
It doesn't register invoices with the GST portal for an IRN, send over Peppol, or file to HMRC.
03
No QR code yet
Payment details and a link go on the invoice; the scan-to-pay QR is switched off.
04
Invoices stay in the browser
Saved invoices — up to 50 — live in this browser, even on Cloud Pro. Export a backup file to keep them safe.
05
No conversion
Pick the client's currency and price in it; nothing is converted.
06
It doesn't chase
No reminders and no read receipts. Mark an invoice paid when the money arrives.
Questions
Asked and answered.
Is it really free?
Writing invoices and downloading PDFs is — no account, no daily limit, no mark on the PDF. Cloud Pro is for emailing, links, AI and sync.
Where are my invoices kept?
In this browser, up to 50. Clearing its storage clears them, so export a backup file from time to time.
Is the PDF a valid GST invoice?
It's a tax invoice you issue, with GSTINs and HSN or SAC codes. Registering it for an IRN isn't available.
Can it take payments?
No. It shows how to pay you — a method, a link, instructions. The money goes wherever your link goes.
Which currencies?
INR, USD, EUR, GBP, AED and SGD, each written its own way.
Who makes FyInvoice?
Fyboard. FyInvoice is one of the FyTools studios, with its own home here.
